Just keep going, we all hit a time when our bodies need to reset and recalculate.0

How much exercise & what type are you doing? Be sure you continue drinking lots of water especially as the weather warms up. This is the only way your body has to rid the fat.0

Are you eating enough calories? Maybe you could try eating a few more for a couple days. Are you drinking at least 8 cups of water a day? Or maybe you could switch up your workout routine. Your body gets used to a certain workout after awhile.0

Here is some advice I found helpful from Jillian Michaels' newsletter...
You should NOT skip meals. There are so many adverse effects to skipping meals. Not only does it slow your metabolism but it can also lead to overeating, because when you do eat, you're overly hungry.
As for cutting your calories below your recommended allowance, remember this golden rule: Never allow your daily calorie allowance to fall below 1,200 if you are a woman and 1,500 if you are a man. Falling below these daily allowances can do real damage to your metabolism and result in excessive loss of lean muscle tissue. When you dramatically reduce your calories on a consistent basis, it can slow your metabolism or trigger a plateau. Consistent exercise — plus the occasional high-calorie day — will help ward off a plateau.
Hope this helps!0 -
All the other comments are great.....it could be not drinking enough water, your TOTM, not eating the right combinations of food (try making your food diary available to others, that may be helpful)....also I have found now that I am almost 3 months into this and lost about 33#, I never used to eat my exercise calories, but not I try to eat a little, as my body is getting used to what I am doing eating healthy, I find this helps trick it a little that I am not starving it all the time.....example...I did a decent amount of exercise this weekend, but also at a little more than usual (eating out and going to party)....and I have lost 1.5# over last 3 days......something is working......anyway,hope this helps.....good luck!!
P.S. good idea on measuring--wish I had done this sooner also....this may show something sooner than the scale...0 -

Hi
I noticed on your profile that you are aiming to lose 4lb per week. 4lb loss per week would be extremely difficult to achieve, no matter how good somebody were. Usually 4lb weight loss can occur of the 1st and 2nd weeks of diets but after that it settles down to around 1lb or 2lb per week.
If your weight loss and measurements have stopped you may need to up your exercise a bit, that's what I have always done anyway and it has never failed. Instead of twice per week aerobics, I have upped it to three times per week and that seemed to sort it, or instead of running or long brisk walks for a couple of times per week, add another session in. On a personal note, that is why I NEVER start off my whole regime with exercising five or six times per week, it would leave no leeway for an extra session later on as my weight slows down.
Just stick to your eating plan and don't slack off on the exercise and it will come off if you are consuming less calories than you use each day.0 -
Hi all
Thank you very much for all your tips. I was just about to give up. Last night ate chocolates a big no no, also haven't trained for 2 days. I was just getting feed up as my weight has plateau for about a month now. The thing that is so fustrating is that I have between 7 to 10lbs left. Also don't laugh but i couldn't remember where I wrote this thread. Ha ha. Any way from all the combined advice I have learnt from you all is:-
1. Keep to my dieting plan.
2. Up my training am currently do P90X. But I need to buy the bands so I can do the weights at home. Getting them today.
3. It takes time. This is for life.
4. Also to remember that all my clothes are to big for me know so it is working.
5. Just keep going.
Ok. Great people am off to the shops to buy my bands bring it weights P90X
Oh am settling for 7lbs to loss.
