I was advised that I may have success if I would try intermittent fasting. It's taking a little getting use to. But I'm seeing some weight loss. I am fasting for 20 hrs and eating window of 4 hrs. Anybody else tried intermittent fasting with success?

Time, and timing, of calorie consumption does not matter. The problem you may end up with is, that you are so damn hungry that you binge, sending you over your calorie goal.

I've been using IF with great results. I go 18/6 most days. Not that hard once you get used to it, and it really tames the old ideas of hunger once you do. Mark Mattson has some great youtube videos on the science behind IF, he's a real scientist and everything! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Mattson

Yeah, it bad at first and I did over eat... Now I eat slowly to allow my stomach to send my brain the ques that I'm full. I have to manage to eat enough of the right food within my window.

Do a group search for intermittent fasting. Many MFP members are active there and have experience with all different eating intervals
