Research on disordered eating behaviors

I've noticed a bit of a recurring theme in some blog posts talking about compulsive eating behaviors that only began to immerge after hitting target weight and beginning weight maintenance. I've done some preliminary literature review, but it seems like most research is focused on obese populations, or populations with the big-name eating disorders. Not seemingly standard individuals who, after an extended period of calorie restriction, started exhibiting compulsive eating habits. Is anyone familiar with the current state of this research? Could you point me in the right direction?
