Hello, I was boxing last Thursday, it was a sparring session to the body, I was caught with a hook to the elbow tendon, this made my whole arm vibrate and shake, the pain began after, I did not stop sparring and continued. it has been a week and the pain is still there, I have a session today, I was thinking of missing, it hurts to throw a punch as well, I was thinking to avoid getting punched and do some bag work, I am getting pain in throwing a punch. would it be best to avoid training and wait.

    Avoid training bro.
Let it heal and just do some road work and mobility drills instead.
Your body will thank you for it.

I think you know the answer to that. Punching puts tremendous strain on muscles, joints, ligaments etc..If you received a hit, and it caused some damage...it needs to heal. I love the hitting the punching bag (I avoid sparring now as I really don't enjoy getting hit so much lol) but there are times when my shoulder can't take it...I have to stop and let it heal properly which unfortunately can take weeks.
    Good luck.

I cant do roadwork to much, it puts alot of pressure on my shins, I was thinking of going to the gym and do some cardio
