Hi
This is what I achieved in exactly 3 months by keeping a cal deficit of at least 500cal, eat a minimum of carbs and exercise whenever I can

I understood that he ate at a deficit of 500 calories not that he only ate 500 calories.2 -
Terrific progress, by the way!0

I guess from about 30 to about 20. I am not sure but 12% is the plan. I have to drop another 8-10kg. Depends a bit on how much muscle I gain

I lost almost 22kg. Now I have switch to maintenance level. I try to grow some more mass now. It's not that easy. Next week I will be 53 and the response is slowing down.
I tend to stick to my macros. Low on simple carbs, maximise proteins. No sugars, soft drinks and juices. Plenty of fish, meat, chicken and vegetables. I take dairy in the morning. I have been on 1500-2000cals/day for a year. I have shifted to 2000-2500cals/day now. I keep track of my energy expenditure via a polar v360. I try to go to the gym 3 times per week but I can't always make it when I travel for job. What I have learned though is being in control of my food intake. I know when it is too much and I feel when it's not enough.6 -

For those who want to start: if you look ahead a year seems long, by the time you look back it went damn fast!6

One more thing. Always make sure to set your next target. I noticed that once I hit my weight target I started to relax. That's ok I guess for a while but then you have to set your next objective. Keep progress and keep the discipline.3

That is amazing. Well done to you. Great job.
