Changed Scale...UGH!!!

My brother recently moved out and took his scale with him. So now I'm using my mom's scale and I now have NO CLUE what my real weight is
My "official" weigh in day is tomorrow but I jumped on this am just to see how I'm doing and I'm up. Which means I'm probably going to be higher than my last weigh in when I officially do it tomorrow . I've been staying within my calories and actually am usually under when including my fitbit calories.
So I can use a little advice. Do I scratch everything so far (4lbs weight loss) and start over with tomorrow's number on MFP just so my numbers are accurate or do I adjust all my numbers about 2lbs up (I know my mom's scale is higher but I just can't remember how much)?
Yes, I know a scale is a number that can vary day to day - BUT I think everyone can admit it's nice to see it go down sometimes, especially when you're putting in hard work (even if it's 1/2 a lb).
Thanks so much!

it sucks to lose any progress.
How far along are you in your weight loss? If you're just starting, I'd just go with the new scale. Say you're planning on taking 40 weeks to lose 40 pounds and you're just 5 weeks in; it would make the majority of your weight loss on the new scale.2 -
Personally, I would record whatever weight you see tomorrow using your Mom's scale as just another weekly weigh-in. I would not use that as a new starting weight though. You're going to have ups and downs throughout this process! Just roll with it and try not to stress out too much.1
