I recently got a timex ironman heart rate monitor with a chest strap. I was wondering if anyone knew how accurate it is, or any of them?

I have a Polar. As far as I can tell it's accurate. I've tested it by counting my own pulse, and by comparing it to the HR monitor on various gym machines. Pretty close, certainly close enough for it to guide my training.0
