Sugar Intake

I am getting quite a few questions regarding the appropriate daily sugar intake. Here is the 'tried & true' formula: Take 10% of your target # of calories per day and then divide by 4(# of grams in a tsp of sugar). This should be your MAXIMUM daily sugar intake. For example: My daily calorie target is 1350....10% of this is 135....divided by 4 equals 33.75g of sugar intake maximum. Hope this helps! FYI.....You can change your sugar intake goal by going to settings, adding sugar as a nutrient in your chart, & then choosing custom settings.
