Shred Diet

Has anyone tried the Shred Diet.

If so, What do you think about it?

  • I'm on my last day of week 5, and I'm liking the results I'm seeing. I plan to do about 3 cycles of it. I honestly love it, and don't feel too restricted on it. Week 5 has been the hardest for me, but 95% of the time I feel full and satisfied, and the exercise requirments are totally doable. The trick is to pick foods you actually enjoy eating and making sure you stick to the size/ calorie requirments. I didn't try any of the recipes in the book, personally, so I have no opinion about those. I opted for the larger bottles of pre-blended smoothies you can pick up at the grocery store, made my own soups, etc.

    One thing I do, which is a little odd I guess, is that I picked up a package of those 12 ounce canning jars and use them when packing my lunch (smoothies and soups, sometimes salad), because I can see how many ounces I'm adding, plus the lids screw on, so there isn't any spill issue during transport. So, portion control is easier for me, and doesn't take a lot of time.
