How many calories to eat in early pregnancy

Please share if you know about how many calories to eat and what to avoid during early pregnancy .

    2nd the doctor.....pregnant women arent generally encouraged to diet during pregnancy and are advised more to look at eating well instead.

    The general recommendation is that you do not raise your calorie intake until the second trimester. At that point, you can consume an extra 200 calories/day. Of course the recommendations are different if you started the pregnancy obese.

    Most OBs aren't terribly specific about this sort of stuff. If you are especially concerned, see a nutritionist.
