How many calories are in an ounce of pan cooked chicken breast? I have looked in the database and online, and keep getting different answers that seem to vary- from a low of 28 to a high of 70. I log the olive oil it's cooked in separately. Thank you!

Are you weighing it before or after it's cooked? If after, then it's absorbed some of the oil, which will throw off the weight/calories. If before, then use a raw entry that is comparable with the USDA database.

It's around 130 calories for 3 ounces of grilled chicken breast cooked.

If you can weigh it raw, it's better. But even then, nutrition varies quite a bit between USDA and Perdue, for example (120 calories for 4oz for Perdue, USDA says 120 calories for 100g) and there are a LOT of inaccurate 'USDA' entries in the database, so check their site directly.

    https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/885?fgcd=&manu=&lfacet=&format=&count=&max=35&offset=&sort=&qlookup=chicken+breast

So yeah, I've been on MFP for almost 3.5 year and I still don't know how to log it... when in doubt, double check the USDA entries and use that.
