Appreciate the little victories

Temptation is a bi***. Anyone who has struggled to lose weight knows the little demon on your shoulder that tempts you to break your diet and pig out. I'm trying to appreciate the little victories more and more. For example, I work 3rd shift at a hospital and all of night shift was provided free food. Hotdogs, hamburgers, pop, chips, ice cream, etc. All my co-workers got food and were asking me why I wasn't. I explained my lunch was already planned out and I was sticking to it. It's so easy to make an excuse that it's just one thing, but it adds up. I'm not trying to brag, I'm just hoping to encourage others to appreciate the small victories in your day. Don't minimize them. Every time you make the choice to stay with your plan is a win.

So true... success is slightly increasing the frequency of your number of small victories. Well said.
