Hi Everyone! (This was my post from yesterday).....It's Day 100 of tracking...and it was an excellent day for me. In January my GP said my A1C level was 12. Yikes. Nasty. He upped my medication and added a new one in, and sent me to the Diabetes clinic at the hospital. I decided in early February to use MFP to help me track and understand my eating habits. About a month ago I added Pacer on my phone as well to motivate me to move more (I have a sedentary job). The end result? I'm down more than 25 pounds since I started tracking, and my test in early May showed my A1C level at 7.8. The hospital nurse was really impressed. YAY ME! There are times when I might get discouraged that the scale hasn't budged in a couple of days, but the blood test and the way I feel make up for it. MFP is helping me understand my eating habits and make better choices. Some things I look up in the app and say to myself.....yeah, that plate of french fries isn't worth the calories/fat etc. And I pick something else. Mind you, I have days where the jubejubes are calling me, and I have some. But I track it, and own it. Peace out, have a great weekend! Karmell
