Any suggestions on a quality, and affortable HRM other then Fitbit. I would love the Fitbit HR but its really too exspensive.

    If you have a smartphone, Polar's H7 strap will talk to it (Bluetooth), is very comfortable, and can be had for $50 or a little less if you shop around.

    I have an Android. It does have a bluetooth option.
