When to weigh?

Hi!
When is the best time to weigh yourself and how often? Once a day, once a week, once a month?

Whatever you feel like. I do everyday because I like data. The one thing most can agree on is to make the weigh in conditions the same everyday. The best way to do that is very early in the morning. I do it when I get out of the shower.

I weigh every morning, after the loo and before eating and drinking anything. I then record it in a weight tracker.
    I use Trendweight.

It doesnt matter as long as you weigh yourself at the same time and under the same conditions. Personally i do it first thing in the morning before i eat or drink anything.

    right now!

If I were some idealized version of myself, I'd eat right all the time and weigh once a week. But in the real world, I weigh myself every morning when I get up.

How often to weigh really depends on you and your personality, probably stating the obvious there.

I weigh every day, write it down, average & log that average once a week. For me, it's not uncommon to vary a couple of pounds one day to the next, up or down, so the weekly average takes care of daily fluctuations due to food intake, water, eliminations, timing, etc. Even tho' I'm on a maintenance, my weight still goes up and down as shown.
