Hi everyone! I'm currently 254.8lbs and my goal is to be at 200lbs. I was very fit and athletic until my mid 20's. I know understand the struggles of being overweight. I am focusing on my diet first, and hopefully will transition into an exercise routine. I wish everyone the best of luck, and hope you all meet your goals.

I met my goals by focusing on diet before exercise. Worked for me.
Got my eating under control, then started running/biking/swimming/body-weight exercises. I hope you meet your goals. :flowerforyou:

I started in January with diet and exercise at the same time. My exercise was just walking on a treadmill and then later I added squats and push-ups. As I've lost from 272 the walking turned to running and the squats and push-ups got easier and I do more now. This stuff is easy.0

I'm doing the same as you, concentrating on getting my diet under control before building on an exercise routine. I've got an exercise bike which I use, but I'd really like to get into running. I live minutes away from a walking path through beautiful countryside, and one day I'll slip on some running shoes and give it a go. I just want to feel a little less self conscious first. I'll get there though, one day at a time.0
