Is 1200 calories too low?

I have been doing strength training, and eating my 1200 but the damn scale won't move!

If you've been strength training muscle weight far far more than fat so you may not see scale movement. But im you're seeing improvement in tone that's just as good it isnt all about numbers.
Bare in mind that if you're strength training you need to keep your protein pretty high even within a 1200 goal. Possibly you have plateaued and it will start to drop again in time it depends if we're talking 1 week without the scale moving or 1 month.
Also ensure you're weighing everything for total accuracy.
My goal is 1260 and i'm loving it, yet to plateau and certainly not hungry so i dont think 1200 is too low by any means.

It's very unlikely she's gaining muscle on 1200 calories.

OP, can you give us more information? What are your stats? How long has it been since you've lost weight? How are you measuring your intake/exercise calories?
