I need my stomach gone. I know I can't choose where I loose my weight but I was hoping for some tips/pointers/work out ideas that will help with my stomach. I was told not to bother with ab work outs until I lose the stomach, since it wouldn't show anyways. Is that true?!
Any advice or guidance on what to help so so much appreciated.

Ab workouts can help build ab muscles. Losing fat will make your stomach smaller. Compound lifts (deadlift, squat, etc.) can also help build abs.0

Improving posture will give the impression of a flatter stomach. Planks are great for that0

Know you can't spot reduce but asking how to spot reduce?
I'd say your best bet is to run a lifting/body weight program while losing fat. You'll keep your booty and have a nice physique. You can control when you want to stop losing fat.2 -
A good ab workout will help with posture, and core exercises help you improve with just about every other type of exercise. Nothing wrong with a good ab workout right now, even if it doesn't specifically reduce body fat.0

You already know you need a deficit to lose body fat. How the fat comes off is genetic. For exercise, do a bunch of cardio. Find a steep hill and run up and down for 30min-1 hr/day. Or any exercise that you like that'll have you seriously huffing and puffing. Weight lifting is fine but it's not going to get rid of your belly fat or thighs or arms as fast as hills.0

Not wholly true. I rarely do cardio. Mostly weight lifting and have considerably lost fat. You can do all the cardio you want (which will help of course), but getting more muscle will also help burn fat (and help keep it off). Weight lifting absolutely will help burn fat too. I suggest both cardio and weight lifting. Losing weight without the muscle underneath to give strong curves doesn't look very good, just deflated.0 -

Tons of cardio and a deficit is actually not a great plan to get a nice stomach. You would have better results eating a deficit, lifting to maintain your lean body mass, and doing little cardio.1
