I wont bore you with huge detail but I got a heart infection when I was 19 and it knocked me down for 2-3 years (Im on year 3 now but I've been able to do day to day things again, just not any hard exercise)
Being bed ridden along with hoarding food whenever I could get it (being so sick and not being able to shop often) Lead to ALOT of gross freezer foods and pre-packaged processed stuff. Which packed on pounds. Now that I hit 225 pounds (GROSS I am only 5 ft 3) And I can do day to day stuff I am ready to take my life back.

I really liked myself at 180 pounds as my first big goal, I know for my height that's considered fat or "obese" by the BMI, but I have just naturally always been thick and curvy. At 180 I had a nice slim waist. So my journey to lose 50+ pounds begins. I plan to focus on eating as clean as possible and training self to do that again, effectively. Throw in some light exercise - sometimes it hurts my heart still, So just walking mainly-

Anyone wanna join me :)? Chat?

Hi :) sorry to hear of your troubles. I know what its like to be bedridden, I was for several years in the early 90s from Lyme Disease. my saving grace if you want to call ti that , was too sick to obtain food , then got terrible stomache problems and couldnt eat so did a bunch of yoyoing in my weight.
I had to fight my way back very slowly several times. doing it again now from my last bought of illness.
welcome to mfp, and wishing you the best success!
