Not sure I get these counter things so I can have 1200 calories a day but ate 1500 today (300) over but burned 400 calories so gave 100 left (example) does this mean the more I work out the more calories I can consume?
What's the best way to lose weight? I don't want to lose it fast I want to lose it properly

Yes technically you can but that depends how accurate you are at logging your food.
How much do you need/want to lose?

If all the math is correct then yes, you would be able to eat 100 more calories, you would be netting 1200 since you burned 400.
Where are you getting the 400 calories burned figure from? Exercise machines tend to drastically over-estimate calories burned, even when calibrated to your age/sex/weight.0
