I have been doing 30 day shred and some treadmill time at the gym. But since starting the 30ds my feet hurt so bad in the morning! It hurts to even stand. What is this? And how can I make it less painful? Thanks!

This sounds like you may want to see a doctor to rule out serious foot problems. Appropriate shoes/shoe inserts may help and a podiatrist can help you get the right ones.

Look up Plantar Fascitis and see if that sounds like what you're suffering. If so, there's a bunch of stuff online for how to treat it e.g rolling a frozen bottle of water back and forth under your soles, specific toe exercises like scrunching a towel, calf raises etc. If it's really bad for a long time your GP should be able to offer injections but I highly doubt you'll need to resort to that!

I had plantar fascitis a few years ago. it was agony and just as you describe in the early days. I would advise to see a Dr sooner than later and do the exercises recommend above as well as calf stretches before and after exercise and daily foot massage. I ended up with made to measure insoles . I also bought a foam mat to exercise on when I was able to exercise again. do you have good trainers for exercise? you'll need to wear sensible comfy shoes for a while too. hope you get it under control quickly.
