Macros newbie

I am completely new to tracking my macros. I see here it suggests 50%C/30%P/ 20%F but i'm not sure how to calculate a meal plan that fits these numbers, also i feel like I should be eating a higher amt of protein and less carbs. I am pretty active usually reaching 9000 steps a day and following kayla itsines bbg guide. Any suggestions/tips? Thank you!

You can adjust these. My macros were 35/30/35 and I normally plan my entire day/week out so I could make sure I hit these percentages. How I would do it (if I didn't plan a day out) is eat what I want for the most part in the am and afternoon and then check my macros to see what I needed for the rest of the day. I would adjust my ending meal to fit the rest of my macro gap.
It all depends on your goals. I needed a higher fat content because I was doing a ton of cardio and carbs wasn't enough for me to keep my energy high. I noticed I normally hit 30% protein so I kept that there... Point is, I found what worked for me. That's all you can do0
