Here we go, Again!

Well, I'm pretty sure I've hit my rock bottom this weekend. Emotional breakdown, clothes don't fit right, body looks terrible. I've struggled with this "baby" weight since I had my first baby 6 years ago. I need to make a commitment and stick to it. I keep thinking, I'll buy a new product, a new video, a new thing, and it will spark my loss. I got a fitbit a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. Now to make it work for me. I've got to buckle down on eating well and getting some workouts in.... I can do it. I've got 35 lbs to lose, I'm currently 192 and my goal is 155, so I guess that's 37 lbs. I'll see how it goes. I'd like to get it gone and to start focusing on the good stuff in my life. Consider this my public announcement!!!

I just started again as well. It is hard to stick to a diet but I have to remember that I have no choice in this matter. You are lucky you only have 35 pounds to loose. You can do it!!! It not that much to loose. Focus on only loosing 10 pounds.0

It sounds like maybe you're starting to do this already, but I have found it helpful to shift my focus to what *I* can DO rather than what I hope something else (an eating plan, an exercise regimen, a gadget, a food) will do or what I hope will happen someday.
Realistic *action* goals that are directed and executed by YOU (walk x miles this week, eat 5 fruits/vegs today, etc) lead to more success than end goals that are focused on something that you just want to happen (lose 10 pounds, reach x% body fat, etc.).0 -
