Jamie Eason 12 week program

Has anyone completed this program? How much should I be eating in order to tone up and lose weight? Some say that I should not have a calorie deficit but I don't know if I should be eating the amount of calories I need to maintain or to gain?

I completed her post pregnancy 12 week plan. I set my calories to loose 0.5 lb per week. When I started I was 174lb, 5'9", and eating 2240 calories. By the end of the program, I was down 8 lbs and I gained back a little of my pre pregnancy strength.
I have a couple of friends who have done Live Fit and had great success. They both followed the meal suggestions that came with the program. One lost 10 lb the other lost 30 lb.

I tried it bc I love Jamie Eason, but I felt that it had a lot of "fluff" in it. I'd rather do compound lifts rather than isolation lifts, but that's just me.
As for your diet, there isn't enough info here to say what you should be doing.1
