Cowpeas vs black eyed peas

What's the difference between cowpeas and black eyed peas? When I asked this question on google I got the answer that they're both the same thing, still when I searched for black eyed peas I got "100 grams : 90 calories" and cowpeas "100 grams : 336 calories" and MFP says pretty much the same thing
So which is which? And how do I differentiate between them?

Blackeyed peas and cowpeas are the same thing. The 336 calories for 100 grams is just wrong.
116 calories for 100 grams cooked.

Technically, the 100 g = 336 calories is for dry mature cowpeas. The same thing, prepared (cooked), is 116 calories.
