Tempeh in pad thai or stir fry?

Has anyone tried this? If so, do you marinate the tempeh first? I usually just make vegetable stir fries/noodle dishes, but I have some 3 grain tempeh in my refrigerator right now.

I have it in stir-fry a lot. Some people like to steam it before marinating it because they think it reduces the bitter taste. I don't taste bitterness in it, so I usually skip this. I usually marinate for at least an hour (up to overnight). I will either crumble it or chop it into chunks before marinating it.

Yup... this is what I do too.

Thank you both- any special trick to the marinade or will any old recipe that I can find online do?

In my experience, any recipe will do, but it's all about how long you soak it. Longer soaks will provide a "fuller" flavor.

I prefer to marinate and then bake the tempeh.
