Stop relying on motivation. (Wish MFP could changes the name of this subforum, as motivation is volatile and never there when you need it.) Make sure you aren't depriving yourself - have a reasonable calorie goal, fill up with nutritious foods that you like, and fit in some treats. Plan your day in advance and keep a stock of the foods you plan to eat.

I am going to predict that if you do that, you're just going to feel worse.

Giving up and over-eating isn't going to make you feel better. It isn't going to solve your problems. It only hurts you in the end. Take a deep breath. Take a walk. Say something nice to yourself.

You can do this, even if you're not feeling "motivated".

Join some challenges and groups on here. I do all that and go to weight watchers. All combined it keeps me more motivated. I also find bribing myself with foods I like motivates me to move more.

Find something to keep yourself busy until dinner time - even better if it's something active. By then the crisis will have passed and you will feel better.

What seems to be the problem, today? Days like today are the best day to hit the gym or go for a long walk or run. don't let the stress from a bad day derail you. the past two years have been that way for me but with my stubbornness and the support from this group and another group I belong to, I have managed to stay the course.. If they is anything that I can do to help let me know.

Not sure if it will help you, but I find watching those documentaries on Netflix about diet and sugar intake tend to keep me on track with my food. Fed Up, Sugar Coated are the ones I recently have watched.

In addition to that, motivational podcasts whether ur on a walk or on ur couch are always good motivators and up lifters. Try wellness wonderland or check out blogger Isabel foxen duke. Both are body positive and informational! Feel free to add me.
