What was your 21st Birthday Like??

Hi i am having my 21st birthday in a couple of weeks but i have no say. my little bro and sis and dad are planning the whole thing. FYI my dad leaves EVERYTHING to the last mintues so what i would like to know is what you guys had so i can be jealous lol. All i am allow to do its 2 sets of homemade candles and making sure the house is all clean. so elt me know what you did. (and i cant drink)

Went to the grocery store at midnight and bought a six pack of Beck's Dark. Didn't get carded. The end.0

I flew to Connecticut (I know, lame) and tried to get drinks at each layover (I was to turn 21 the next day). My bf at the time took me to Applebees to celebrate.....
Needless to say, my time at the airports were more exciting and your celebration can't get any worse than mine.0 -
Really don't remember much.. the only thing I remember is being at a bar and winning Allman Brother tickets in a pick the shortest straw contest0

I was dealing with an extremely personal health problem at the time (still am), but was allowed to get rid of one of the clunky pieces of equipment that I had been using to deal with said affliction. To celebrate, my family and neighbors came together to keep me company.1

I was driving to Lackland AFB after returning from Viet Nam. Spent the night in a Holiday Inn.0

Not exciting, but I went to my classes at university, then worked at my part-time retail job until close, and by the time I got home at about 11pm, was too tired to do anything so I just hung out at home. Maybe had a drink? My 18th birthday, however, is a totally different story.0

Drinking age in Canada is 18 so 21st birthday becomes pretty unmemorable...0

Went to Atlantic City, it was pretty nuts as far as the gambling went. I play blackjack. I'm not gonna bother posting the details because to be honest I would be apprehensive to believe my story if I hadn't lived it, but it was insane.0

It was a long time ago. But, since I; got my drivers license at 17, got the vote at 18 and got to drink (legally) at 18 it was uneventful.0

nice where i live is 3 hours from the centre of perth so cant really go to stripper or such.0 -
I drank so much I had to have my stomach pumped. From Canada though so I guess 19 was the big number. A birthday is a birthday though, not a huge deal to me.0

Count me in as one of the idiots that thought she could run with the big dogs and drink the hard stuff...no schnapps and slippery nipples for me...give me that wild turkey, jack and my best friend jim... Mr. Bartender.
Needless to say, I ended up in the hospital and my mother tried to ground me...haha. I was getting married in 6 weeks!!
God help me I am gonna have a 21 year old son in 10 months...0 -
thanks everyone i now i know that i am not missing out on anything. the age group for the people is 30- 75. i will try to get my Grandrents to get drunk (Gdad is funny when he drinks) any advice for me to make sure people have a good time??? i have kids who are coming to so need to make sure they are enterained too if possible.'0

I turned 21 in 1976 and I honestly don't remember what it was like. I think I was in college. I think it probably was quiet and underfunded, lol. Can't possibly compare to the blow outs I have heard about by today's youth! LOL0

Ran to the store to buy wine, didn't get carded. Went to dinner with my mom and boyfriend, ordered a strawberry daiquiri (yuck!), didn't get carded. Went to the casino, carded only for gambling. Wasn't too eventful.0

My boyfriend at that time took me to his favorite bar, got me trashed, had to carry me out. Back to his place, where well... We had a lot more fun!0

I had just come back from my first tour in Iraq. Literally a few days before my birthday. I can honestly say I do not remember the day in specific because I was already blackout drunk.0
