Ugh!!! Just need some motivation.. TOM is here with an extra 6 pounds. It's so discouraging... I want to bury my head in the sand and eat away my frustrations. I know it will go away with in a week. How do others get through this womanly time? :'(

    i'm just the same. i held onto 6 or 7 and it freaked me out. that was just after i'd started my MFP journey and it took me a while to realise that it goes away. you said yourself you know it will go away. just try to be patient and not let your hormones run away with you.

    If it's water weight, it will go away with no extra effort needed. Just don't overeat. It may help to not keep trigger foods around.

    i went up 10lbs one day. dropped it all in a couple of days.

    hormones, stress, new exercise, sodium, alcohol can all lead to water retention. keep watching your calories and it should come off on it's own
