Ideal Protein - Help Please :)

We had a number of family friends who did the ideal protein diet and had great results. My mom and I couldn't afford to do the full process, so her friends (who also happen to be doctors and currently do the diet themselves) have told us what parameters to follow and we found resources online. I am getting married in September so I have lots of motivation but I am really struggling. I need creative ways to cook the veggies. I can't do the same things every day.

Breakfast: Pure Protein Shake / Daily Vitamins
Lunch: 4oz meat with 2 cups of cooked veggies
Dinner: 4oz meat with 2 cups of cooked veggies
Snacks: Free veggies, lots of water, 2 tbsp olive oil/day and if necessary a protein bar
Before Bed: Pure Protein Shake

My mom is home and I work full time. My mom is doing great, but she is also free to fully focus on this diet. She can step in the kitchen to eat some veggies whenever she wants and get creative with her meals. Life is busy for me right now, I barely have time to cook meat in advance. I feel tired and hungry often and I just can't keep eating the same things the same way.

Of those who have done the diet, do you have any tips or recipe suggestions?

I often nuke vegetables - green beans, broccoli, cauliflower seem to be my go-to during the week, and then add lemon juice and herbs. Roasting vegetables (broccoli, asparagus, cauliflower, any root vegetables, e.g.) is yummy too but you need time to do that. Do they always HAVE to be cooked? Because a huge salad of leafy greens, red bell pepper, cucumbers is delicious and satisfies crunch. If you are feeling tired and hungry often, this might not be the best eating plan for you. Also, if you are drinking a lot of fluid and not eating many carbs, you also could be urinating enough that you need more salt and potassium. Check this possibility out with your doctor friends.

These kinds of prescriptive diets get really boring ... some people find it helpful to take a diet break and practice eating at maintenance for a week every 4-6 weeks of dieting. Not only does it help with the boredom but you get practice with the "rest of your life" bit. Good luck to you.

Can you continue to eat like this at that low a calorie consumption? If you cannot it is a fad

If you want to save a bit of money (or a lot), buy a protein powder at walmart instead.
Throw in an Equate women's multivitamin.
Focus on healthy and you will lose weight.
Olive oil is high in calories. I threw mine out and finally can stay within my daily calories.
Instead eat fish, avocados, and olives.
