Hard to be precise without a bit more information. Guess it depends on your level of fitness, your body's need for recovery, type of training program being followed and overall training load.
For example, I take every Monday as a rest day, since I follow a 6 days per week training plan and my long workouts occur on Saturday (bike) and Sunday (swim/run).0 -
i usually have Tuesdays as my rest day because we have people over that evening so i don't have time to work out anyway. i work my weekly schedule round that.

Honestly; whatever day is available to you. For the past month it has been on Saturday, this week I'm going to switch it up to Sunday. For me it kinda falls into place.0

I'm not sure I understand your question. Take a rest day whenever you need it, or whatever best fits your schedule. It's nothing that requires exactness.0

Honestly, no one know your schedule. No one knows of your lively hood (kids, works, family, obligations out side of work)... No one knows what your do for exercise..
If you want, you can share some things about what it is that you do and even why it is hard for you to schedule rest days.. Is it obligations or is it that you have a hard not time not going to the gym..
Muscles and recovery are started in the gym and completed at rest... I hate rest days.. but when I do have a rest day it is an active one and when it is over an time to get back at, I have awesome workouts... because I am rested...0 -
I normal work out six days a week running or lifting. I let my body tell me when I need to take a rest day. I normal take mine on Sunday but there time that I need two days. Just remember that sleep is just as important as working out or a rest day. Sleep is where the body repairs itself.0

Are you asking how to indicate to MFP that a day is a rest day? You don't need to do anything (except not log the exercise that you're not doing).0
