New to the site. I weigh 192 lbs and am 5"4...I want to get down to 150 lbs...and am okay with doing it slowly as too many changes tend to get overwhelming for me. My goal is 2 lbs per month....I tend to do good with exercise but food is my struggle. I eat fast and even though I love fruits and vegetables I also love junk food..chips, fast food, etc. My goal is to lose weight by just making some small changes in eating...not drinking pop, limiting junk food, etc.
I am also reading an an excellent book about overeating that is helping...I want to learn to eat any food I want in moderation! I tend to overdo it at times.
I want to make specific goals though ....so I think I will limit a fast food meal to once per week...and snack foods such as chips to once per week. Right now I can eat fast food up to five times per week and also snack on chips, etc. at home.
It is tough but I till myself I am not going to give up certain foods I am just going to learn moderation.
