You lose water through your breath and you haven't drank anything for 8 hours?0

Because you haven't eaten for 6-8 hours and assuming you go to the restroom when you wake up before you weigh yourself, you're as empty as you will be all day.2

from what i've read it is water weight lost during a nights sleep cycle, and of course maybe even a little fat also if you are in a deficit.0

If you continue not to drink or eat anything until afternoon, then you'll weigh lighter in the afternoon.
We will always be lighter as soon as we stop drinking, eating or injecting things into our body; and it gets lighter as time goes.0
