Lifting weights -What am I doing wrong

Im a beginner at strengh training .Can some one tell me the do's and dont. I do arm workout videos from youtube like fitness blender , xhit daily and kelsey lee. Anyway my arms shake/vibrate when lifting 2lbs weights . Am I doing something wrong or is it normal?

    You're CNS probably isn't used to being put under that much strain/stimulus. Do you do your movements in a slow controlled manner or in a quick jerky motion? Also are you purely training your arms, because that's extremely impractical and not recommended.

    Do they shake from the get-go or after a large number of reps? If the latter, that's called "getting tired".

    How did y'all learn proper form? Lots of YouTube? I want to start weight training just to be well round and fit. But I don't want to walk up into the weight room and start doing crap wrong and get hurt doing it.

    I started in group classes at the Y. Not as expensive as a personal trainer. Mark Rippetoe has some great videos on form. You can find them online.

    You just need to get stronger. It will come in time. Before long you will be picking up heavier weights.

    You just need to get stronger. It will come in time. Before long you will be picking up heavier weights.
