Gained a pound after binge last week, but worse of all I seem to have reached a platau and can't seem to shift it, was hoping for a good day too cycle it off. Wet and windy here today, and bad back so feeling a bit down this is the time in the past I would have said sod it and gone to sweet shop, lucky I'm skint lol and shops too far away !

You aren't in a plateau. A plateau is 4-6 weeks with zero movement on the scale. Keep logging everything as accurately as possible and be patient.3

The best thing to do after a binge is just to get right back on your plan, forgive yourself and keep going. I have actually broken plateaus by doing exactly that after a binge.1

If you gained then that's not a plateau. A "plateau" means you're not gaining or losing anything. You were over you calories so you gained. Create a deficit, know your numbers...
