    I want to try the Pacific Crest Trail.

    Plan to finish in early to mid October if possible, so you get to see the larches near Harts Pass. If you need to, you'll have the option to take the East Bank Trail to avoid snow.

    I don't think I'm middle aged technically, but with my family history I'm halfway there :neutral: A couple things i've done or what to do...

    Learned to play guitar a couple years ago (I don't know what stage of your divorce you're in but that got me through a hard time)
    Start a business
    Travel to Ireland
    Own a '69 Camaro (that might be mid-life crisis tho! lol)

    Keep fit enough to watch my two boys become parents and make their lives.
    Live in Italy and some other countries for extended periods of time/Travel.
    Play as a senior athlete in International tennis tournaments.
    Walk the United States for a few years.

    I turn 39 next week. My personal list:

    Completed:
    Bachelors degree
    Masters degree
    Bench 1.5x bodyweight
    Squat 2x bodyweight
    Become a published author (starting work on sequel)

    Short-term (next 5-10 years):
    Run marathon (never gone further than 5k)
    Deadlift 2.5x bodyweight (up to 2.25x BW)
    Visit all 50 states (49 down, Hawaii still to go)

    Long-term (down the road):
    Learn a foreign language (was ALMOST fluent in Spanish til I stopped studying it two decades ago)
    Learn to play an instrument (piano or flute)
    Retire in comfort (not rich, just so all bills are paid without working)
    Doctorate degree
    Visit Israel, walk where Jesus did as he carried his cross
    Be called Grandpa
    Be called Great Grandpa
    Bowl perfect 300 game (PR 279)
