Lifting weights will not make you have bigger boobs.

... how would that be physically possible when boobs are made of fat tissue and not muscle?2 -

You're not going to wake up with bigger boobs. You would have to put a lot of dedicated, progressive effort into pectoral exercises to make these muscles bigger.0 -

Weight lifting has nothing to do with breast size. Breasts are fat and glandular tissue. Your genetics determine the amount of fat you store there which is what determines the size of your breasts.

Rest assured, lifting weights will not enlarge your breast size.
Where did you hear that? I am really curious as I have never in my life heard that.2 -

A really flat chested friend who does crossfit. At 31, she could literally still fit training bras before crossfit.0

Fair enough. My only beef was that it sounded as though you were saying the value of a person's BMI was an estimate of their bodyfat percentage. Obviously that can't be true. A BMI < 18.5 is considered underweight for an adult... but a man with a bodyfat percentage of 15% certainly isn't considered too skinny.0 -
@mburgess458 I understand my immediate keyboard response isn't always the best explanation, but I responded probably too quickly when I take people's reaction to sound like bmi doesn't estimate adiposity in studies when it has been shown to do so and is the cheapest, most reliable way to estimate adiposity in studies on the general population. I took the other person's response to be saying that it was by chance that bmi could be correlated to bodyfat (correlated as in high matching high, not 26=26).0
