Fitbit Calories in / out?

Do you use the suggested Calorie intake via your Fitbit? Do you lose? Do you feel fitbit's calorie burn estimation is pretty accurate? Sometimes I feel like mine counts steps when I drive or move my arm too much. Thoughts?

Mines not completely accurate I had a coughing fit once and did 400 steps but then when I do 2k on the cross trainer it doesn't log more than a couple hundred steps! I stick to the calories it tells me on here and just log in my workout calories from my Fitbit x

I use my calories suggestion from MFP, even though i have my Alta synced and i can see the calories in/out on my dashboard i don't use any of that information only because MFP has worked for me eating at 1200 (lost 18lbs since 3.2016) and maybe 100 back from exercise that i get from fitbit. I just like seeing the graphs!

It took about 2 months for my FitBit to figure out my CICO. I've been successfully maintaining for a year eating all of the calories it gives me.

FitBits are very accurate for some and off for others. It's really going to depend on how your activity matches up. Use it regularly and over time you will know how close your FitBit is.
