Hey everyone. My name is Nikki and I really need some exercise tips. Something challenging. Over a year ago, i gained fifteen pounds after my mom's miscarriage. It was a difficult time and I never had the time to work out. I was planning to order Zumba Incredible Results but I dont know when. I am planning to lose twenty pounds by the end of summer. Is it possible to just do sit ups or push ups or home work out without equipment i can do until I get zumba?

There are lots of good workout videos on youtube, just search and go! Also you can spend $10 on a jump rope and that is serious cardio. Good luck!

If you're not doing any exercise right now, starting a walking routine will make a big difference. Walk 1-2 miles twice a day and that's a good start. There really are a lot of great workout videos on YouTube. I love the Tone it up girls. I went from 146 to 129 in three months, so you could lose close to 20 pounds by the end of summer.

    Another vote for walking.

However, how much you eat will have a bigger effect on your weight loss.

    What are your stats?

Weight loss comes down to having a calorie deficit. Exercise can help you with that deficit, but not if you don't know how much you're consuming.

do burpees, try to do X amount in a row, rest a minute and repeat for 3-5 sets. Burpeees are a great at home excercise and will help you burn calories much faster than walking. That will be a good starting point to build up some cardio endurance. Just try and increase X number over time.
