Native New Englander..currently living in the midwest.

The first 16 years I grew up in Waterbury CT, then spent 16 years in various pats of Maine.

I miss the region. I loved New Hampshire. Particularly the white mountain region. I miss spending time up there and I miss the food down in Connecticut. You guys have no idea how hard it is to find good Italian food, even simple pizza, here in the midwest.

Yeah, Waterbury was "on the way" for a lot of folks. When I meet non-CT residents that traveled the area, I always ask if they remember the cross on the hill...lol
