Hi,
I'm a single mom about to turn 40 soon. I came through brain surgery back in November but this losing weight thing is the real challenge! I have a long way to go, 85-90 lbs. Taking one day at a time.

Sorry you had to go through surgery but great that you are focussed on your next challenge. One day at a time is great, I hope you get the results you're after

After going through brain surgery, you shouldn't find MFP too hard. Just plug in your stats, get your daily calorie goal and try to stay within it everyday. Buy a digital food scale, weigh and measure everything you eat and drink, and then try to move as much as possible. If you are not capable of regular exercise yet, walk as much as possible. This is for starters. As you go along, you can add other challenges. Best of luck-accepted your request.
