The last 5 pounds?

Hello everyone
So I am 5'10" and currently weigh 61.5 kg/135 lbs. My body has come a long way in my fight to get fit, and I'm proud of what I have achieved, but all that remains is the dreaded lower belly. I'm an apple, so I already know I'm in for the long haul when it comes to this, that's why I keep up with weight training and moderate cardio. I eat clean as well, and cheat within a good range. My question is, could the answer to letting go of that remaining pooch be in the last five pounds I can lose before I'm considered underweight? My waist proper (i.e. the smallest part) is 28 inches, but just below it rings in at 33 inches
Do I have to push harder and beat the last five to lose the love handles and belly? Thoughts? Suggestions? Thank you for reading

I think given your weight I would not push for those last 5 lbs, rather I would continue with the weights and moderate cardio and work towards a recomp.
A recomp is when you eat at maintenance TDEE, or NEAT including exercise calories, while lifting. It will help sculpt your body, but is slow.
You don't say what your lifting programme is. If it isn't a compound progressive routine, you may want to look at doing one.

I agree with post above. With BMI of 19 you should not try to lose more weight...rather look into recomp if you are unhappy with your current look.1
