Low self confidence and going on vacation

I am going on a pretty incredible "once-in-a-lifetime" vacation in 2 and a half weeks. I go on vacations a lot, but the chances of one like this happening again in my life is very slim. So, I really want to enjoy it as much as possible and get the most out of it. Unfortunately, I have recently begun bingeing during my diet and have put on weight. This has lead to extremely low confidence to the point where I'm not really excited about this trip because I feel unattractive (I know I'm not but this is how I feel). Anyways, how can I boost my confidence and feel attractive so I get the most out of this trip? Dumb question, I know. But what has worked for you when you went on vacation while not feeling the best about yourself?

Also, is it reasonable to lost 5 pounds in 2 and a half weeks?

Thanks!

I say buy some new clothes that make you feel good.

The new clothes idea is definitely a good one. Faking it until I make it always works for me whenever I feel down. In fact, when I initially started weight loss, I made a point to mimic the behaviors of a healthy person until these behaviors became my habits. Doing yoga and beginning and ending my day with motivational videos from YouTube also help.
Five pounds is unreasonable, unless you're obese. I'd say it's best to aim for half of that.

the main thing you have to realise is that nobody gives a damn what you look like -everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to care about you. And if they care what you look like then they're pretty boring people

Also if this is such a mega holiday, then all those other people on holiday will just be enjoying themselves too much to think about your weight! which is also what you should do!

if you want quick tricks to feeling better then get your hair done and some nice clothes x

Thanks for the tips, guys! I did get some new clothes and I've been meaning to try some yoga (never actually did a yoga session before) :)
