Diagnosed with Diabetes

Hi everyone,

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes, 29 years old 134 pounds 5'4". Drs are still determining what type I have. This is all new to me, I never thought that this could happen to me. I have a lot of emotions and thoughts about it. I'm staying positive for the most part. I don't think I'll ever get used to drawing blood and sticking needs into my stomach. I'm hoping that with using this app I'll be able to control my sugar intake and be able to control this disease. I wish you all well and I hope that this app will help you all reach your goals. I'll try to post progress reports as this new chapter of my life unfolds.

    Things are going to get better. :) It is a good to have a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
    I hope that the drs send you to a nutritionist who specializes in diabetes.

    I've been diabetic for 15 years. Friend request me if you want. It isn't a death sentence. Knowledge is the key
