Weight vs cardio

Quick question. Can strength training also include cardio? I attended a grueling 45 minute class this morning. Some of the class was definitely cardio. However we also did some circuit training with the kettle ball that included walking lunges and swings. These were done in order with no rest between: One deadlift of 95 pounds then 25 kettle ball swings. We did 10 sets. My heart rate was increased and I worked up quite a sweat. The walking kettle ball lunges also increased my heart rate. 15 yards down and back for 10 reps.
Do either of these qualify as cardio or are they still strength? Just curious.

Most circuit training like that can be considered low / medium intensity cardio.0
