My name is Tiffany. I'm 26 years old and I need to lose about 100lbs. I've started a weight loss journey so many times but never stick with it. I guess as long as I keep trying right? I just got diagnosed with a non alcoholic fatty liver. I'm trying to change my eating habits to better my health. I usually drink about 32oz of regular pop daily but now I'm trying to watch my sugar and fat intake. So now I try to drink diet pop instead, since I can't quit pop cold turkey. It's so hard changing eating habits. Please feel free to add me, as I can use the motivation and support

Hey! I was 340+ pounds before I decided to make a change. Start by finding your TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). www.iifym.com has a good calculator. Be honest when filling out the information so you get the most accurate calories/day. Then take that number, subtract it by 20% - eat that many calories a day.

I found the best way to at least get going was to join a gym (lift, don't be a cardio bunny...lifting will burn more calories when you're not actually working out and it'll help down the road when you cut fat and have muscle tone), then I cut my total calories by 20% and continue to eat whatever I wanted. A calorie is a calorie and you'll lose weight as long as you're in a deficit. Change to diet pop and 0 cal drinks in general. I never get calories from any drinks besides alcohol (which I cut out anyway). This will get you going...

After awhile you'll lose a bunch of weight and need to start tracking macros more (fats, carbs, protein), but start there. Good luck!
