New and Awkward. What about you?

So I've never really been into dieting and exercise haha. I'm pretty culinarily curious but not really ambitious, and until recently my weight has never been an issue. However the past few years I started drinking heavier and gained a good bit, topping out at 220 which even at 5'10 is hefty. So I've stopped drinking and now I'm looking to develop more beneficial habits lol. I'm pretty much a total dork but I'd love to make friends, get advice, chat, whatever! Feel free to add or message me too!

Welcome Amber - getting to know yourself through logging your food and drink is a great start.0

Thanks! I've never kept up a food journal because it seemed like so much of a hassle. The apps UI is pretty rad and makes it a lot easier, it seems. Any particular tips on keeping track?0

The two things that I would suggest are:
- make sure you track everything from the spoon of sugar in your coffee, the sweets that a friend gives you, the dressing on your salad.
- make sure you're realistic about portion sizes
ASide from that just track, have fun and feel free to ask questions. You may not get a lot of responses, but you're unlikely to have anyone complaining about your questions.1
