Do you try to squeeze in an exercise while getting ready in the morning?

I try to get in a few extra squats while I'm getting ready. How about you?

I dance while i get ready lol Wakes me up and gets a few extra calories burned, Starts the day off fun1

Not as such but I've taken to getting up at 0530 and running 5K before getting ready (I generally catch a train at 0700ish). It does mean that I start the day having done something positive, and it's great for getting my Fitbit steps going for the day1

My dentist advised me to brush my teeth for a minimum of 4 minutes each time, which seems like an eternity if I'm just standing in front of the sink! So I walk circles around the kitchen & hall instead. It's not much but it passes the time and I don't feel like it's taking forever, and I get an extra 500-700 steps to start my day.1

Haha I squat and stretch when I'm getting ready. If I'm blowdrying my hair, I do the splits wile at it :P0

Squats while taking clothes out of the dryer and "deadlifting" my sons huge laundry basket full of clothes brought home from college!! LOL3

Running twins! I was up at 0530 to run 3.333 miles this morning. Out of the house by 0730 to get the kids to school, and me to work.
Speaking of squeezing in exercise while getting ready, makeup time is a great time to do kegels.

We get up around 5:45, get dressed and wake the kids up at 6 and then go running while they get ready and walk the dogs. Then we come back, shower and dress for work and take the kids to school around 7.0

I wish I had the willpower to work out in the mornings, I wake up at 5.30 and don't leave the house until 7.45 and still feel rushed!0

I have gotten addicted to running in the morning. I start waking at about 3:30 and then get up at 4:30. Get my running clothes on, brush my teeth, splash some water on my face and out the door by 4:45. It gives me enough time to get 7 miles in by 6:00. I just love the feel of my FitBit buzz for 10K steps before the sun comes up. If I don't exercise in the morning it is just not going to happen. The other side of this is I like to go to bed at 9:30 PM now.

I get up at 6 and take my dog for a walk, then I come back home and get ready for work. Before I leave for work, I spend about 20 minutes outside with my pup (she is still a puppy and is not overly keen on being outside alone). While I let her run around, play fetch etc, I do lunges, squats and general yoga type stretching on my patio. I don't log any of this as exercise (I run after work), but it definitely helps get me loosened up and ready for the day.0

I get up as late as I possibly can to shower, get dressed, and rush out the door.1

I go to the gym or run outside for my work outs, but I do get a lot of extra squats, dead-lifts, and low level cardio from walking around the house picking up a the *kitten* that my daughters leave lying around.1

You must be joking.
It's all I can do to get my bearings and not fall out of my open bedroom window when I first get up...0 -
Taskercizing? No. Doing squats in the shower, no. Squat after brushing teeth, no. Squat and pushups before I get dressed, no.
I take the time at 5:30 to get my sweat on and then done for the day! Got to exercise with a purpose, doing 5 to 10 squats and then keep going does nothing for me..0 -
I run two miles with my dog every morning and I do squats when I get back one0

Totally agree. I set aside my time 5-6 days a week to exercise, I will not be squatting whilst brushing my teeth. I tend to wander around whilst doing things but that's just fidgetiness.
Walking is the exception. I sit in the car for an hour Mon-Fri so any errands that can be achieved by walking are done that way.1 -
Nah, but I will walk around my house like a weirdo to get in those last 800 steps to make 10k if I'm short that day2

Sounds like my husband. I take advantage of it and make him put things away while he's at it. He still grumbles about it.0 -

I basically roll out of bed, hit the gym, and THEN get ready. Does that count?
Today, I have to admit I slacked though. Definitely gonna be at the gym for way too long later trying to fit in a heavy leg session, accessory burn outs and cardio. UGH!1 -
I do some pull-ups or hanging L sit holds in the morning before breakfast. Gotta preserve dem lats.0

Not in the mornings but in the evenings I do. I sit in a desk chair all day so at night when reading or watching TV I sit on the the floor and stretch, do planks and lots of different arm exercises with the dumbbells that are stored next to where I sit. It's hard NOT to do a few exercises when the dumbbells are right there staring me in the face. This is in addition to my regular daily workouts, though.0
