Help!

I was doing weight watchers for about two months. I lost 10 pounds but then I started gaining weight! I decided to start fitness pal about a month ago and the first few weeks I did well. Now suddenly I am gaining weight again. I don't understand why? I am doing 1200 cal a day and exercising. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you weighing and logging all your meals?

Hi..please have a look to my post "why up and down" and mfp blog "dietitian: weight loss plateu". it's normal that our body's weight fluctuating everytime and maybe stagnant in a certain period. But we should see on regresion trending say monthly or quarterly that overall trend is down , as long we follow the daily callory target then it works.

How much weight have you gained and over what period of time? It sounds like normal fluctuations to me, but more information could be helpful.

Are you using a food scale? How long since you've lost?

Do you weigh your food? When you say you gained, is this over a period of time or you gained from yesterday? Is it pounds or some ounces? Do you weigh daily? Since you said you started MFP a month ago and the first few weeks it was fine, I'm guessing that this one week hasn't had the results you hoped. That sounds like it could just be normal weight fluctuations. Is it TOTM? Did you have a salty meal yesterday? Did you start a new exercise or increase your intensity? Remember that weight loss is not linear :)
