Surprisingly fun and funny too.

I'm one of those people who has stuck with cardio because I'm not really comfortable working in the weights section of the gym. OTOH I'm bored and need to change up something.
Today I gave working with a PT another go. Nice part...no crowds of people or waiting for equipment; just me and the trainer I was working with.
Oh, and his intern. So self-conscious me has two 20-something buff looking guys watching me exercise. But one is an intern, right? And, hey, maybe they don't get a lot of middle aged women clients for him to observe.
Maybe 20 minutes in another 20-something fit guy shows up.
Hmm...okay...maybe he is here to work out?
No. He's just kind of watching me too.
Irony...now I have 3 guys watching me work out. Seriously laughing on the inside.
At least one is my trainer.
It was fun though, I left with a smile and an appointment for Thursday. Plus the sure knowledge that my chest and arms are going to be sore.
Oh, and the PT said my cardio is good, but upper body strength needs work; which I knew, but nice to at least hear my cardio conditioning is good.
And the 3rd guy? That would be another trainer and actually the one who has an appointment that works with my schedule.
Step outside your comfort zone. It might work out.

Good for you! I watched all the trainers at my gym for a while before selecting one and the one I chose is a young 24 year old male (same age as my youngest son), but he's really good and he pushes me. There are also several other young males that work there so I hear you on having them around while you're working out.
Enjoy your next session! Glad you gave it a try.1
